Belgium might be my favorite new place to find filthy-fresh electro. Not Germany's over-the-top-scary ish that Saint Pauli likes to remix and throw back at us... not the overly compressed pop-genre tunes that France is known for... or even England, the heavy home of fidget and dubstep artists Andy George and Rusko.

But Belgium. One group that has caught my attention is Mashed Paper Klub. Not even sure how to really describe them, so let this press quote do the talking:

"We are not trash or underground, not fluo or hype, not violent or nice, not for a ghetto stage or clean... We just play our music sincerely, without prostitution and for all the people who are not shocked by unusual stuff"

Fair enough... and whatever they are, I'm going to have these tracks on repeat for most of the week until I get tired of getting my ass handed to me from a song.
