Was sent this earlier today, and am sitting on the fence about it. Rather Sound Than Safe, or just RSTS is composed of a pair of talented musicians, Sif and Rasmus who met in the underground Copenhagen club scene. Together making music for several years now, their sound is most definitely influenced by the late 90's techno so aptly characterized from the likes of Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, and Underworld.
I appreciate the technical prowess of this track, who's sexy vocals blended with the strong and masculine synths most definitely work, but will they work in some of today's fickle hipster clubs that just look for the floor bangers. What brave DJ will throw this one down? Hopefully someone.
