I'm not saying that Chitown is the Mecca of electro, or the end-all of stops for dj sets in this country... but one of my friends who currently resides in Brooklyn recently suggested that I move out there if I wanna get the chance to see all the bands and artists that 'just drop in'.
Well I've been meaning to post some of these reviews of recent artists that happened to 'just drop in' to our unknown town of Chicago. So this looks to be as good an excuse as any to finally update you all with them.
The month of March started off with a bang when MSTRKRFT and The Bloody Beetroots made a pass thru 'Chicago's World Class Mega Club' (tic). [prior review] needless to say, kicked my ass.
to be continued... (expect some simian mobile and digitalism action... as well as a few blokes from France that you may or may not have seen mentioned on this site (ironic using english slang to describe the french (what's the french equivalent to 'bloke'?)))
