AC Slater + Henry Rollins [jackin']

AC Slater - Play The Record Again | 320 kbs

Yes Mr. Henry Rollins. Fuck You. My buds over at Hot Biscuits said it best [here]. He is the douchebag of his times, and really posting his picture and featuring his commentary (however ironic it is) is only feeding his ego. I liked it better when the general populous basically forgot about him.

But back to the song... AC Slater has easily been my favorite producer for a long time now. And this free-for-all-online-exclusive track is just another reason.

"If Henry Rollins says 'fuck' in a forest, does anybody fucking care?"

Cos I'm an old fool...

Figure has been quite the busy bee this summer... but unlike me, he's had the decency to keep all of us informed of his new works and musings. So to show my appreciation for the continued flooding of emails from the Louisville stationed DJ/producer, I'll catch you all up on his work from this summer. Starting with a new August mini-mix, as well as a few new remixes and originals... all blog-worthy.

Best Workout Mix Ever...

DJ Donna Summer from the Nightshifters label, made a new mix back in February. And since then, it has found a permanent spot on my mp3 player during early spring workouts (and likely thru the summer).

There's so much awesome bassline and breaks in this mix... what else would you expect from a label that harbors the ikes of AC Slater, Proper Villains, Rob Threezy, etc.
